New platform brings more evidence into a role-specific evaluation as hiring progresses — from the resume and work samples to interviews and team feedback.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TrueRole today announced the public beta launch of its candidate evaluation and hiring intelligence platform for companies and staffing agencies, designed to give teams a deeper, evidence-based understanding of candidate fit throughout the hiring process — including why a candidate appears aligned, what supports that assessment, and what still needs to be validated.
TrueRole starts with the role — including its requirements, evaluation criteria, business and industry context, and expected outcomes — then assesses candidate evidence through that lens. The platform shows where a candidate appears to fit the role, what evidence supports that assessment, where gaps remain, and what still needs to be validated, rather than relying on generic keyword matching or an unexplained score.
The launch comes as recruiting teams face sharply higher application volume with fewer resources to evaluate it. Greenhouse’s 2026 Hire Standard benchmark, based on more than 640 million applications across 6,000-plus companies, found that applications per recruiter increased 412% between 2022 and 2025, while the number of recruiters per organization declined 56%.
At the same time, AI has made it easier to create, tailor, and submit application materials at scale. While many uses are legitimate, hiring teams are also navigating increasingly optimized applications and attempts to manipulate automated evaluation systems. A 2026 USENIX Security study analyzing approximately 200,000 real-world resumes found hidden prompt injections in about 1% of them.
TrueRole is built around a premise: candidate evaluation should evolve as the evidence does.
A resume may provide the first view of a candidate, but it is rarely the last. As portfolios, case studies, work samples, interviews, and team feedback become available, TrueRole carries that evidence into the existing evaluation rather than treating the initial assessment as a fixed conclusion.
“I’ve come to see hiring as a series of decisions informed by evolving evidence,” said Damien Dalli, founder of TrueRole. “What you understand about a candidate at the beginning of the process is rarely everything you’ll know by the end. We built TrueRole to make that reasoning visible — to show what the evidence supports, where it is incomplete, and what still needs to be understood.”
Core capabilities include a shared evaluation lens based on the role, business context, and criteria that matter; analysis of experience and career trajectory with clear fit signals, gaps, and source-linked evidence; and application checks that flag potential concerns such as keyword stuffing, prompt injection, hidden or overlaid text, metadata anomalies, timeline anomalies, and identity or contact inconsistencies for human review.
As new evidence emerges, teams can deepen the evaluation with portfolios, case studies, work samples, and other candidate materials. TrueRole can then prepare interview questions tailored to the candidate, role criteria, existing evidence, and areas that still require validation, while interview notes and team feedback become additional evidence in the evaluation. Teams can also ask natural-language questions about individual candidates, candidates within a role, or retained profiles across the workspace.
TrueRole works alongside the systems companies already use to source candidates and manage recruiting workflow. Rather than replacing an applicant tracking system (ATS), TrueRole adds a role-specific evaluation layer across the hiring process, carrying candidate evidence forward from initial review through additional materials, interviews, and team feedback.
AI assists the analysis, while criteria remain visible, evidence and application signals stay inspectable, uncertainty is surfaced, and hiring decisions remain with people. Candidate profiles can also be revisited for future roles, allowing existing evidence to be evaluated through a different role context.
TrueRole is now available in public beta. To explore the platform or book a demo, visit TrueRole.ai.
About TrueRole
TrueRole is the candidate evaluation and hiring intelligence layer for teams that need role-specific fit, inspectable evidence, and human-owned decisions. TrueRole helps teams evaluate candidates against the role as evidence develops throughout hiring — from initial resume review and supporting materials through interviews, team feedback, and future opportunities.
It makes candidate fit, supporting evidence, gaps, uncertainty, application concerns, and what to validate next visible throughout the process.
Less noise. More relevant evidence. Hiring, true to the role.
